Happy New Year!

I was looking back at all the things i did on the layout this year and am amazed to say the least! Hard to believe a year ago I picked up an airbrush for the first time. I am by no means an expert, but at this point I am not afraid to try anything anymore.

As I wrap up this year I have a few things in the works. I tore down a Kato SD40-2 in preparation for a new paint job. For this one I am going to do BN’s LNG 7890. The prototype has flared radiators but I am debating not doing that. I do have an SD45 I could cut up, however even then it wouldn’t be exact. I may just cheat and paint as is. Leave a comment, what do you think I should do?

Also in the works, I ordered a bunch of propane service equipment (semi, trailer, tanks, etc). My plan is to, for the first time, make my own decals for these and model a real business.

And finally I am still working on the bridge scene. Abutments are painted but I think one more coat is still needed.

I hope you have a Happy New Year!
