Tweaking JMRI

Tonight I spent a few hours tweaking JMRI, namely the layout and the use of routes. I originally setup the staging yard with a single route that would line both ends of the yard at the same time. As I have been running trains, and getting my head to mentally treat the staging yard as two different ends of the railroad, it made sense to separate each end of the yard. The premise is no train goes straight thru the yard, it is the termination of the railroad on both ends. I use it as straight thru when just running trains, however for operations a train is not allowed to go straight thru. Here is the final changes with operating routes (numbered squares). In this case, the left (East) end is lines for track #4 while the west end is lines for #5. And finally, as you can see from the diagram, the yard is full!
